Retail eCommerce site conversions to ExpressionEngine
(2013-2016)
Served as project manager of Information Technology, Marketing, or both for the following retail eCommerce site conversions into the ExpressionEngine content management system (CMS). At times, also served as technology product owner and/or business analyst.

Add bulk discounts to ordering system (OES to OPS3)
(April-December 2014)
Conversion of bulk ordering and discounting of textbooks from legacy Order Entry System installed in 2004 into the proprietary Order Processing System the company used for all placing most other orders. Project took 9 months to complete and included managing the IT development tickets and working with the IT business analyst on change management and process improvement.
Project communication highlights include a three-level stakeholder management strategy:
- Daily standups and IT team of developers, QA analysts, scrum master to work through blockers. As needed, worked with developers to review critical path for tickets and make any necessary adjustments to timelines.
- Weekly meeting with key stakeholders and executive sponsor to discuss progress and business tasks. Business analysts and developers also demonstrated new features during this meeting.
- Monthly newsletters to all stakeholders to update on progress and promote project socialization. Examples: June, May, October.
Other IT projects
- Email Certificates, October 2013-January 2014: Four-month project to add PDFs of email certificates for course completions for specific business-to-business client types.
- Dearborn Instructor Resources, October 2013-February 2014: Five-month project to build out file-sharing in the ExpressionEngine content management system to distribute teaching materials to wholesale partners. Example: Errata page
